Private and Group Lessons
Whether you want to learn on your own, as a couple, or in a group setting you will be able to explore ballroom dance in a safe, structured environment. One of the options below holds the key to unlocking your ease and comfort, and will bring you into connection with yourself and others.

Private Lessons
$80 per hour (1 or 2 persons)
Semi-Private Lessons
$25 per hour/per person ( 4-6 persons)
To schedule a private or semi-private lesson contact Trudie at (805)450-2499 or Derrick at (805) 450-2498. Private and semi-private lessons are taught at Santa Barbara Dance Center. Trudie also teaches private lessons at Leslie Sack Dance Studio located at 20 West Calle Laureles in Santa Barbara.
Group Lessons
Come by yourself, or bring a few friends. You will dance with many partners at various levels of skill. Group lessons accelerate your learning and connect you with a community of new friends.
$15 drop-in / $55 per month (4 lessons)
Dancing for Couples
Tuesdays November 10, 17, 24 7:00 - 8:15
This class is designed to help couples develop connection and intimacy on the dance floor in a safe and nurturing environment. (You must bring a partner.) We will cover the basics of various styles such as Foxtrot, Waltz, American Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, as well as Salsa, Night Club Two Step and Swing for club dancing. Limited to 8 couples.
$40 per couple/ per session or $20 per person.
Performance Choreography
Thursdays November 5, 12, 19 and December 3, 10 and 17
( 6 Sessions) 7:00 - 8:00 PM
For intermediate to advanced dancers who are interested in technique training and footwork. You will learn variations in Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Night Club Two Step, Salsa, Waltz, Tango and Foxtrot with opportunities to perform at festivals, concerts ans special events.
$105.00 or $15 per person.
